Treatments & Services
Chronic Conditions
Exercise physiology therapy sessions are personalised sessions designed to help manage chronic conditions. Each session is different, being tailored to the individual, and takes medical history, injuries, medications and personal goals into account.
Medicare rebates: clients with chronic conditions who are referred by their GP are entitled to Medicare rebates, however you do not require a referral to visit Life EP. Please ask for further information.
Type II Diabetes
Join our small group exercise sessions, specially designed to reduce the effects of Type II diabetes through exercise. In a relaxed and supportive environment we provide up-to-date information and education about Type II diabetes, as well as an opportunity for you to receive support from others living with the same condition
Medicare rebates: are available for clients referred by their GP, however you do not have to have a referral to participate. Please call for further information.
Falls Prevention/Osteoporosis
Reduce the risk of falling and regain your confidence with a falls prevention class. These group sessions focus on increasing muscle tone around the hips, as well as enhancing balance, helping to reduce the likelihood of falling as well as minimising the injuries that can result from a fall.
Osteoporosis group classes help increase bone density through controlled exercise and increase muscle strength in poor areas. Aspects of falls prevention are also included.
Group sessions are available at affordable prices and no referral is necessary.
Injury Rehabilitation
Any injury, whether it be obtained through work, sport or just life in general, can be significantly assisted through rehabilitation. Each program is tailored to meet your individual needs and goals.
Body Composition Assessment
Keen to find out if your exercise program is working? BMI and body mass are only part of the story. A Life EP body composition assessment uses thorough measurements including breadths, widths, girths, and skinfolds to give a total body composition that can be used to measure the full effects of an exercise program.
Body Composition Assessment is not just for athletes. It benefits anyone who is interested in discovering the true effects of their exercise program.
You can be sure that you will be receiving an accurate and professional assessment as Life EP’s principle Exercise Physiologist holds Level 2 accreditation in Anthropometry.
